Polarity Performs
The new Acapella group at WHS, Polarity, will be opening for Josh Stewart (a teacher in our schools and recording artist) on Feb. 3 when he presents his concert at WHS (Waverly high School). Tickets are $5.00-available that night at the door only. 'Polarity' recently sent in a DVD contest entry and has been informed that they are one of 9 groups chosen to go to Washington D.C. to perform.

Piketon, Ohio---This street festival, in its 48th year, features exhibits highlighting old fashioned arts and crafts with a quilt show & chain saw demonstration. It also hosts an antique car show, a cyclist tour and trail ride, horseshoe and band contests, along with the best food offered anywhere! The Grande Parade is held on Sunday at 2:00 p.m.

We play primarily in DAd tuning and most folks use tablature for the tunes we play. You are certainly welcomed to join us if you are close enough to do so, as we are always looking for new members. Right now we have all mountain dulcimers and 1 autoharp in the club. We have about 10 active members, some of whom drive 50 miles to attend.

Antique Tractor & Machinery Show
Held at the Pike County Fair Grounds in Piketon, Ohio. The 7th annual event features tractor and machinery displays, craft booths, demonstrations, live entertainment, raffles, daily parades, and games for kids. Camping is available upon request. This annual festival is sponsored by the Elm Grove Fire Department in Elm Grove, Ohio. Railroad Days Rendezvous
Held at Pike Lake State Park on Pike Lake Road, Bainbridge Ohio, this event recognizes the historic, social and economic impact of railroads in Ohio. Displays of model RR’s, collectables and memorabilia, exhibits and model train displays are open 10 am to 3 pm. Games and live music, and food from the Friends of Pike Lake available at nominal cost. The 34th annual event takes place in downtown Beaver, Ohio, and celebrates the German heritage of this southern Ohio village. Come and enjoy the crafts, vendors, rides, Queen’s pageant, and great food at this family friendly festival. Parade with visiting Queens held on Sunday.

First National Bank's Jingle Bell Luminary Parade Weekend
The weekend begins with the lighting of thousands of lights in Canal Park and the Candy Cane Variety Show. Saturday features the 5K Run, Craft Show, Wine Tasting and Art Show, Queens luncheon, lantern tours and the largest night time illuminated Christmas Parade in Southern Ohio.
